This is an appropriate combo total for Anthony Davis who averages a combined 40.9 PRA. However this is a tough matchup against a good defensive team in then Clippers that also play slow, checking in with the 5th slowest pace. I was initially hoping Ivica Zubac was going to be active as he's always fared well against Davis over the course of their careers, however I believe his replacement Daniel Theis may even be an upgrade defensively. Ultimately I'm banking on this game being paced down and Davis may be playing with a respiratory illness that may limit him a bit.

With Paul George sidelined, Clippers guard Terance Mann played 39 minutes in LA's loss at Sacramento on Sunday. George is out again so look for Mann to play big minutes versus the Lakers. He has cleared this prop total in four straight regardless and took 24 shots over the past two games combined. Three other Clippers starters are 30 or older, but coach Tyronn Lue doesn't have to worry about Mann's workload.

The Lake Show has come out slow from the All-Star break, failing to cover all three tries, and LeBron (ankle) missing action last Thursday at Golden State. King James and AD have been playing with hurts all season, and LeBron didn't play in the 127-116 January 23 loss to the Clips at Crypto.com, though he and Davis should be ready tonight. Paul George won't be for the Clippers, who also haven't covered a game since the break and have indeed lost 2 of 3. But prior to the Lakers' OT win way back on November 1, the Clips had won 11 straight in this series, and remain aggrieved at losing the OT clash and a subsequent 106-103 decision on January 7.
