Daniel Gafford has come off the bench in three of five games since joining the Mavericks. He also logged fewer than 20 minutes in a game three times. Still, he hauled in at least five rebounds in all five games. The Mavericks are going to need him to combat with the Cavaliers’ size, so I think he plays enough to go over this modest total.

Another day, another Jarrett Allen fade and while we haven't been shy fading the big man, I am fairly certain this is the highest his points prop has been all season. You would think Evan Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, or Darius Garland would need to be inactive for this line to be 18.5 but all of Cleveland's starters are expected to play. Dallas has been generous to opposing Centers but I don't believe it should warrant a 3 point/15% increase. Additionally Allen averages 15.6 PPG compared to 16.3 this season when Evan Mobley is active/inactive. Ultimately this is a couple ticks too high for a player that doesn't have many plays run for him and has only scored 20+ in 14/51 games this season (27%).

We're getting an ultra friendly number on all of Mitchell's props as the All-Star SG was dealing with an undisclosed illness that caused him to miss a pair of games. Mitchell appeared sluggish in his last outing against the Wizards but he still logged 36 minutes and is expected to be all systems go against the Mavericks tonight. This is a fantastic matchup for Mitchell against a Mavs defense that is ranked 20th in total defense. Dallas also surrenders the 5th most points and the third most three point field goals to opposing SGs,which bodes well for Mitchell considering nearly half of his field goal attempts are from deep.
