We're not often backing the Hornets this season, and off a loss to the Pistons isn't exactly a great look for Charlotte. But it's hard to lay points on the road with Houston, which has won just four of nineteen away this season and hasn't had a comfy win in almost a month. Houston is just 7-14 since its encouraging start to the season, and recent Charlotte efforts include a rousing upset of the T-wolves and a combative effort vs. the Sixers. Nick Richards also seems ready to step into the recently-traded Terry Rozier's shoes after scoring 21 at midweek vs. the Pistons. Play Hornets
I played low-level college ball briefly so not super-long traveling and certainly never had five-star hotels, everything comped and groupies (well Penny Lane stalked me once but I was a "golden god" then and that's another story). Really would like to understand why a team like Houston can just dominate at home and fall to pieces on the road. Now Jabari Smith is iffy along with a few other guys. The Bugs aren't that bad when LaMelo Ball is healthy and Brandon Miller (already played his points prop) is starting to show signs of stardom. I believe one of two things most likely happens here: Rockets in a rout or Hornets win outright. The SL Model has Charlotte ML as an A play.

Love fading Jalen Green here as the third year guard has really struggled from an efficiency standpoint this season. Green has some drastic home/road splits as well and has really struggled outside of Houston this season. Surprisingly the Hornets have been excellent as limiting opposing SGs all year as well.

The Hornets are ready to build around their young players. They traded away Terry Rozier, getting back Kyle Lowry and a first-round pick from the Heat. Lowry won’t play for the team as they look to flip him to a contender. Rozier being gone means even more shot attempts for Brandon Miller, who scored 23 points on 17 shot attempts without him Wednesday against the Pistons. That marked his fourth straight game with at least 23 points. I think he scores at least 20 points again versus a Rockets team that is just 4-15 on the road.

The No. 2 overall pick has scored at least 23 points in four straight since missing a couple of games in mid-January due to a bruised back. Miller is shooting it at an unsustainable rate in that stretch but as long as he gets another 15 shots or so tonight should top this.
