Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Jaime's Analysis:

I know there is a good chance the Bucks blow out the Spurs, but we are riding the Brook Lopez wagon until the wheels fall off. He has scored over 16.5 in 12 of his last 15 games. He has hit this number, as well as his over, 6 games in a row. I have posted and taken his over in all 6 of those game, tonight we make it 7!

Matt's Analysis:

This has the biggest spread of the NBA season so why on earth would the Bucks leave Giannis out there very long if it's a mega-blowout as expected and with a tough road trip up next? Shoot, Giannis might not play the second half. The last time the Spurs were at least 18-point dogs was in 1997 at the Bulls and Michael Jordan played less than 24 minutes that night in a blowout. Somewhat apples and oranges but also a bit oranges and oranges. Now I'm hungry. The Freak has been held to 25 points or fewer in three of his past five.
