The Magic are 3-0 ATS against the Celtics this season, and Boston won't have Robert Williams, Marcus Smart or Malcolm Brogdon. After Orlando gave up a season-high 138 points last time out, I expect a focused defensive effort from the hosts. Take the points.
The Magic have given the Celtics problems this season. They are 2-1 against the Celtics, with their lone loss coming by just six points. The Celtics will be shorthanded at guard with Marcus Smart (ankle) and Malcolm Brogdon (personal) out. The Magic are 14-9 against the spread at home, including 12-5 ATS as a home underdog. On top of that, they are 10-3-1 ATS versus teams that have won more than 55 percent of their games. I’m not sure the Magic can win again, but I like taking the points.
Should be a rare sellout in Orlando, which has given Boston absolute fits this season and leads the season series 2-1. Jayson Tatum is back for Boston but Marcus Smart, Robert Williams (not official yet but I'm about positive he won't play) and Malcolm Brogdon are out. It's also the front end of a B2B with a tougher game in Miami on Tuesday. The Magic see the return of talented big man Jonathan Isaac, who hasn't played since August 2020 due to various injuries. Difference-maker defensively when healthy. He likely won't play a lot tonight but certainly a boost for Orlando.
