Mike and Ameer got fortunate taking the Raptors +7.5 this morning because the Bucks just ruled out Giannis Antetokounmpo so there's little doubt in my mind that Toronto covers that number. I think the Dinos also can cover +3.5 if not win outright considering their roster is whole and Milwaukee is also without Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, Donte DiVincenzo and Brook Lopez -- and head coach Mike Budenholzer.

Oddsmakers are overestimating Milwaukee and not giving Toronto enough credit. While the Bucks have secured their fair share of double-digit wins, they've only won two home games against teams that are.500 or better by more than seven points. The Raptors have won three straight and beat the Giannis-less Bucks by four with Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton available in December. The absence of role players like Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen should help the visitors stay close. Toronto has covered in eight of its last 10 games, while Milwaukee has failed to cover in five of its last 10 home games.

The Raptors are still dealing with some absences within their second unit, but their entire starting five is finally back after coming down with COVID-19. They’ve won three straight with their health situation improving, including a 25-point victory over the Spurs on Tuesday. They are 4-1 ATS in the second game of back-to-back sets this season, so while they might not win this game, they could keep it close.
