Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Matt's Analysis:

Mike Barner makes some good points and maybe the Bucks did figure something out in Game 2, but I can't turn down 4.5 points for the Hawks at home. They are 22-4 in their past 26, including playoffs, at State Farm Arena. Trae Young will get a few more calls his way in front of that raucous crowd and probably doubles his 15-point output of Game 2.

Mike's Analysis:

The Bucks picked themselves off the mat after a disappointing loss in Game 1 to destroy Atlanta and even the series. Their suffocating defense forced Trae Young to commit nine turnovers and the entire Hawks team shot just 25 percent from beyond the arc. Milwaukee is the superior team in this series, and if it continues to play the style of defense it did against Young on Friday, Game 3 also could turn into a laugher.
