Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Josh's Analysis:

The erratic Nuggets somehow blew an 18-point lead against the short-handed Nets, but they had shown a bit of improvement before that setback. They should be in a good spot Thursday night to get their record to .500 against a Warriors club coming off a difficult seven-game homestand. Defensive stopper Gary Harris is out again for Denver, but versatile Golden State wing Eric Paschall will also miss a second straight game. Denver's size should give some matchup issues to the Warriors, who will need a standout effort in order to remain close.

Zack's Analysis:

The Denver Nuggets nearly swept their East Coast trip, but fell after blowing a double-digit lead to the Brooklyn Nets. On Thursday, they return home to take on a Warriors team that has adjusted well with a new-look lineup. Yet, they’ve declined in points output in each of their last three games. Expect Denver to pull through and get back to .500.
