I'm going with the low-hanging fruit Tuesday by backing the best team in MLB on the run line. Michael Lorenzen gets the call for Colorado. The biggest issue, aside from Lorenzen's 6.91 ERA, is that he's gone past 5.2 innings just once this season. That means the Dodgers' bats not only get to face a below-average starting pitcher but will likely feast on the NL's second-worst bullpen for a few innings. Justin Wrobleski has been strong for LA this season, and he held Colorado to only one run over 7.0 innings in April. The Dodgers have won eight of the last 10 meetings, covering the run line seven times. If Wrobleski gives us 6.0 solid innings tonight, we should be in good shape.

Last night we got crushed by a three run blown save in the top of the 9th, otherwise the -1.5 would have hit with ease. I'm not going to let that deter me here tonight, with Michael Lorenzen on the mound for the Rockies. I'm backing the Dodgers on the First 7 innings team total again, going over 4.5 runs at -110 on DK for 1 unit. Lorenzen has allowed crooked numbers in many of his starts, with four runs allowed last time out and he's been hit hard nearly half the time since the start of June. An xERA approaching five also points to the Dodgers scoring a bunch of runs off the Rockies right hander.

The Dodgers are the best team in baseball. The Rockies are atrocious, especially on the road.
