With yesterday’s home run, Bryce Harper has now homered in five out of his last ten games. The Phillies took the loss to Pittsburgh on Monday, but continued their strong run production against the Pirates. All four games this season they have scored six or more runs. Expect Harper to continue his tear at the plate, and go over his hitting combination line tonight.

I have done so well playing NO pitcher to win props that this gave me some pause ... but Cristopher Sanchez has been unreal at home, going 6-0 with a 0.95 ERA. And he was dominant in a win in Pittsburgh last month. We know he's going at least six because he always does. Whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen. The Bucs are 5-15 vs. lefties. Pirates rookie pitcher Bubba Chandler got knocked around by the Phils opposite Sanchez in May.

Cristopher Sanchez is simply a machine at Citizens Bank Park. Last year he had home/road ERA splits of 1.94/3.02 and this year it is 0.95/3.89. He is 5-1 to the over of this outs recorded number in his last six starts at home. And when Sanchez faced these same Pirates on the road in May, he threw a complete game, 13 strikeout shutout. Expect another fine outing from one of the frontrunners for the National League Cy Young Award.
