Taj Bradley’s success to start the season is due for a let down stretch. Bradley has a 2.85 ERA which is by far his best start to a season. The one hiccup on the season for Bradley was his last road start, two starts ago against the Tampa Bay Rays. A bat I expect to be part of the National’s success tonight is Daylen Lile. Lile is just 2 for his last 23 his worst stretch of the season. Buy low spot as Lile clears his combination/total bases prop.

DraftKings. Taj Bradley has been a solid piece in the Twins rotation. With 35 hits allowed in 41 innings, Bradley is under this line in 5/7 starts. His expected batting average allowed of .238 sits above average for qualified starting pitchers, and he’s been particularly solid against left-handed hitters. Versus southpaws, Bradley has only allowed 17 hits in 90 plate appearances, by virtue of his splitter, which lefties are 1/17 against. The Nationals will start 6-7 lefties today, and are a well-below team in terms of hitting for average. This season, against righties, Washington is hitting .222 - and an even worse .194 over the last two weeks. Look for Bradley to keep the Nats bats at bay tonight.

Cade Cavalli is in a very nice groove right now, notably with 10 strikeouts in each of his last two games. The new front office in D.C. has worked well with him and he's a changed pitcher. The Twins haven't seen him before and rank sixth in K% against righties, too.
