Miami has lost four straight while scoring a total of eight runs. This is a battle of left-handers, and the Guardians are far superior in that split. They rank fifth in OPS (.753), while the Marlins are dead last at .589. Cleveland also brings MLB's top bullpen (2.38 ERA) and Miami has little to no homefield advantage.

Cleveland's Logan Allen was horrible last time out, but that was in Denver. He has gone at least 5.1 innings in the vast majority of his starts and the Marlins are quite bad vs. southpaws. Barring a high pitch count or him getting rocked, obviously, have to think he at least starts the sixth inning. Would be surprised if he got hit around. Allen is also on extra rest.
Miami is 11-23 at home on the season. The Guardians Logan Allen comes off a rough outing at Colorado, allowing seven earned runs in 1.2 innings. Now, he has a favorable matchup against Miami who have been hitting .227 with a .611 OPS against lefties thus far.

The Guardians simply do not strike out a lot and they possessed the lowest K Rate in the majors over the previous two seasons as well. Naturally they're not a team I play many overs against, however they have been susceptible to left handed pitching this season. Cleveland has the 12th highest K Rate against opposing southpaws this season and is facing an underrated pitcher in Ryan Weathers who sports a career best SwStr% and CSW%.
