That LA lineup is already a lot worse than last year and now it's really weak tonight. I mean, Jason Heyward? I'll always love him for his Cubs speech, but he's not a big-league hitter. Megill was born in Long Beach and attended Los Alamitos High School, located 25 miles from Dodger Stadium. This will be his first start against the Dodgers. The Mets have committed only two errors in 17 games this season. The team's .997 fielding percentage is the best in the majors.

The Mets could have some bullpen issues for this game. Closer David Roberston pitched both Saturday and Sunday. Top setup man Adam Ottavino pitched Saturday and Monday. Meanwhile, the Dodgers will start Clayton Kershaw, who has a career 2.67 FIP and a 0.97 WHIP at home. In his lone home start this season, he limited the Diamondbacks to one run over six innings. This is setting up to be a nice spot for the Dodgers to bounce back from Monday’s loss in the series opener.

The Dodgers finally showed some life at the plate yesterday. Freddie Freeman went deep twice, and L.A. scored six runs. I expect the Dodgers to get some runs off of Mets pitcher Tylor Megill, who has benefitted from a pitcher-friendly schedule to begin the season. Additionally, I predict Clayton Kershaw will success against a Mets team that ranks 28th in the majors in batting average at .227.
