Opponents are hitting just .196 against Musgrove and over his past four starts, Musgrove has allowed one run over 27 innings (0.33 ERA), during which opponents are hitting .160 against him. But, then, a lot of baseball results aren't making much sense right now.

I thought the Padres would be resting multiple starters today which is why I didnt play this earlier, but their full lineup is in. Joe Musgrove has been absolutely dominant this season and the Padres bullpen is well rested behind him with all these blowouts. The Cubs have now lost 9 straight games and their bullpen has looked awful. Matt Swarmer was hit hard in his last outing and he has been allowing plenty of home runs. I like the Padres here.
