Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Neither team has been outstanding on the offensive side of the ball in 2025, but Cal has shown signs of being explosive behind freshman QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. This is a spot where I expect UNC's struggles to continue. Look for a big offensive game from the Bears, with North Carolina contributing enough to push this total Over.
It's not just that North Carolina is losing under Coach Bill. It's by how much: 32 points against TCU, 25 versus Central Florida, 28 against Clemson. Cal cannot quite compare to those three in caliber but, when factoring in the late Friday kickoff and reports (denied by Belichick) that he is working on a quick exit plan, the Tar Heels seem vulnerable to another wipeout. Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, the Bears' frosh QB, has been up, down and in between, which is to expected for a freshman just out of high school. He should benefit from the bye more than anyone on the rosters that took last week off.
