I'm too afraid to take the Coogs straight up, but I like them catching this many touchdowns. Texas Tech looks far more vulnerable than the Tech of last season, and Houston has improved along the offensive line. Also, Houston has been great in close games under Willie Fritz, and Tech simply hasn't played many in a while.

Iowa State could prove to be the worst P4 team in the country, and I don't believe the market has caught on to how bad this team might be just yet. Yes, this game can get ugly at times, but I believe the Hawkeyes are the superior side this season.

I believe both these teams are two of the best we have, but it's hard for me to trust the Longhorns in a spot like this because they continue to come up short in spots like this. I simply trust the Buckeyes more, and if I can get points with them, I'll take em.

From what I've seen from these two teams so far there's a real argument to be made that their defensive lines are their best units. If that holds true, neither offense will have much fun on Saturday.

Duke should be able to run the ball well against an Illini defense that struggles to stop it, and I don't think the Duke defense can slow down the Illini quite enough. This one could get shootout-y.

Kent State is one of the worst teams at the FBS level, and I'm not convinced they're better than Wofford on a neutral, let alone 12.5 points better than them at home.

I have little confidence in Michigan's ability to move the ball against this Oklahoma defense, but I'm not exactly confident the Sooners will be all that successful on offense, either. It almost feels too obvious, but sometimes the obvious is obvious for good reason.

Purdue is still one of the worst teams in the Big Ten, but it looks improved upon the Purdue of the last few years. I'm not at a place in my life where I'm comfortable trusting Wake Forest as a road favorite against a Big Ten opponent right now.

There are injuries on the Kansas State offensive line that concern me, and they've caused this line to move, but I still think the Wildcats are superior to this Washington State team. Washington should've beaten them by 30 last week.

I see this game likely going one of two ways. Either Notre Dame smothers the Wisconsin offense and goes on cruise control in the second half, or the Wisconsin offense muddies things up to slow the game and keep it close. Both options feel like lower-scoring affairs.
