Going to go ahead and grab this in anticipation of Georgetown being without star freshman big man Thomas Sorber, who left Saturday's game with an injury and is dealing with turf toe. Sorber is a legit NBA prospect and Georgetown's best defender by far, and it shouldn't be lost on anyone that the Hoyas gave up 97 points when he left the game after just 12 minutes. Providence has scored 70 points or more in 10 of 15 Big East games this season, and if Sorber's not guarding the rim they should eclipse that number again on Wednesday night DC.

Taking the Hoyas on the ML here. I think it's a good spot for them against a banged up Providence team that they can turn over and get out in transition. That's when Ed Cooley's team is at its best. Don't trust laying over three points with bad teams, so I'll take Georgetown to win outright at home on the ML.
