This game kinda snuck up on me because I am watching Michigan State-Duke. I thought the Irish would run out of gas in Round 1 vs. Alabama off their First Four double-OT win, but that definitely wasn't the case. An actual day of rest can only help. I don't think ND can win here but certainly stay close.

I have this as a potential upset for Sunday's action. Notre Dame is not getting enough respect, I think they're going to be able to find their shot as they have against everyone this season. Tech should win, they do have a more talented team, but 8 points is a bit too much. I have this one at 6.5. Take the value and maybe sprinkle on the +310 ML

Texas Tech is going to play its usual great defense, but these are too many points on a neutral court. Notre Dame has covered five of its last six games as an underdog. Take the points with the Fighting Irish.

This is going to be a low-scoring, low-possession game, so laying this many points is not going to be a favorable position. Texas Tech is elite defensively but the style of basketball, and Notre Dame's ability to take care of the ball and work through the offense to find good shots, will let the Fighting Irish hang around. An outright upset seems like a reach, but Notre Dame's luck can carry the team to a third-straight cover.

Notre Dame is one of the tourney's biggest stories, having won two games despite many arguing the Irish should not have been invited. But now they face a different task entirely. The Red Raiders own the nation's top defense and rank 14th in forcing turnovers. Notre Dame just committed 18 turnovers versus Alabama. Look for the Irish to run out of gas versus Texas Tech's suffocating defense, and for the Red Raiders to improve to 18-5 ATS versus winning teams.
