Horseshoe Online Casino Maine: What is known so far?

Horseshoe Online Casino is not yet live in Maine. With online casinos projected to go live in the state by early 2027, though, a launch is highly expected.

Users can't gamble at Horseshoe Online Casino Maine just yet, but that could all change by early 2027. After the state legalized online gambling earlier this year, becoming the eighth jurisdiction with licensed online casinos, Horseshoe Online Casino Maine has the inside track to receiving a license.

Here's everything we know so far about a potential Horseshoe Casino Maine launch.

The 2026 calendar got off to an exciting start in Maine, as a proposal to legalize online casinos in the state was passed into law. As a result, four licenses were carved out to offer online gambling, one each to the four Wabanaki Nations tribes.

That was already good news for Horseshoe, but things got better by the summer. It was then that parent company Caesars Entertainment announced a partnership expansion with three Wabanaki Nations tribes, including the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi'kmaq Nation and the Penobscot Nation.

Thanks to that deal, a path was cleared for the potential launch of Horseshoe Online Casino Maine alongside two other Caesars platforms: Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

Still, all of this is subject to regulatory and licensing approval by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, which will oversee the online gambling industry in the state. So, is Horseshoe coming to Maine? It appears so, though it remains unclear when exactly it will launch.

Since Horseshoe Online Casino Maine isn't live, there is no promise as to what the platform will offer eligible users. However, the online gambling platform operates in four other states (Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia), which creates a loose template as to what we can expect following the Horseshoe Casino Maine launch.

For example, as one of the top Pennsylvania online casinos, Horseshoe boasts more than 2,000 games, ranging from popular franchise and exclusive slots to table games to live dealer titles.

That expansive library is presented in one of the more user-friendly apps as well as on desktop. That's evident in the variety of carousels that group similar titles, such as sports-themed slots like Touchdown Cash and Ultimate Bowl Bash, in addition to Buffalo Blitz Collect 'Em and Buffalo of Wealth.

Users can further narrow down the large collection of games by taking advantage of search filters like blackjack and roulette.

Plus, in other states, Horseshoe Online Casino enrolls every new customer into the Caesars Rewards program. With that loyalty offering, players can earn points with every bet and redeem them for rewards such as casino bonuses and spins. Keep in mind, though, that none of this is guaranteed when Horseshoe Online Casino Maine launches.

Based on Horseshoe Casino in other states, eligible Maine users might expect a variety of other components.

As noted, Horseshoe Online Casino typically introduces both a casino app and a desktop version of its platform, giving players several ways to enjoy everything the brand has to offer.

Beyond games, Horseshoe lets customers fund their accounts in several ways. That includes Apple Pay (at least in Michigan), as well as Mastercard and Visa debit cards. Users have also been able to deposit with online banking via Trustly, PayPal and Venmo, among the more popular methods. As for withdrawals, Horseshoe looks to process most requests within 24 hours, making it among the fastest payout casinos in the regulated US market.

In addition, customers can take advantage of state-mandated responsible gambling tools like setting limits on deposits, wager sizes and losses to help stay on budget.

Understandably, it can be difficult and even frustrating for residents to keep tabs on the potential launch of Horseshoe Online Casino Maine. In other states, the brand has offered pre-registration once it receives a license.

During this time, while they cannot make deposits or play casino games online, users have been able to create accounts and sign up for updates from Horseshoe regarding a launch date.

Should Horseshoe Online Casino Maine not open that pre-registration window, individuals can keep an eye on our Maine online casino guide to stay updated on all the latest happenings surrounding the pending launch of the online gambling industry.

No. The Horseshoe Casino Maine launch is still a ways off, though it is expected to join the market when the industry opens in late 2026 or early 2027.

As of October 2026, there is no Horseshoe Maine promo code for eligible customers. Based on how the brand has operated in other states, though, there could be one after it receives a license in Maine.

Thanks to an expanded partnership deal between Caesars Entertainment and the Wabanaki Nations, it is expected that Horseshoe Online Casino Maine could go live by early 2027, pending regulatory approval and licensing.

In other states, Horseshoe Online Casino has offered around 2,000 games, including slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat and live dealer titles.
