FanDuel will no longer accept credit cards as a payment method as of March 2, 2026
FanDuel announced on Wednesday that it will no longer process attempted deposits with or remit withdrawal requests to users' credit cards.
Credit cards continue to fall out of favor as a funding source for legal online gaming in the United States, as one of the biggest companies in the space, FanDuel, has updated its payment methods to exclude credit cards. The decision follows changes in policies by regulatory bodies and lawmakers in various US jurisdictions.
FanDuel announces change in credit card acceptance
On Wednesday, FanDuel shared an update for customers stating that it would cease processing payments with credit cards as of March 2, 2026. This will affect all of its products, including its iGaming platform, widely considered one of the best online casino options for bettors in Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
, FanDuel explained that the "change was made to improve the deposit experience for our customers." While FanDuel itself has not customarily attached fees to transactions with credit cards, the card issuers have had different policies.
