Caesars Palace Online Casino hands out over $1.1 million in jackpots in one week

Within seven days in mid-September, two Caesars Palace Online Casino users pocketed life-changing winnings in Michigan. They did it playing the same progressive jackpot game – for a combined total of over $1.1 million.

As announced by Caesars, the first jackpot winner emerged on Sept. 18, with the player turning a $15 bet on Mega Jackpots Cash Eruption into $603,667.06.
That total set the record for the largest win awarded by a Caesars platform, with the previous record of $588,288.17 coming in April via MegaJackpots Wolf Run on Horseshoe Online Casino.
Six days later, on Sept. 24, another Michigan customer took to Megajackpots Cash Eruption and repeated the feat. His $0.60 bet became $527,710.07.
Megajackpots Cash Eruption, a product of IGT PlayDigital, has become a popular game for Caesars thanks to its progressive jackpots that increase across multiple states with legal online casinos. A volcano-themed slot, the game features five reels and three rows to create 20 paylines.
Caesars Palace still looking to find stronger hold in MI
Matthew Sunderland, senior vice president and chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital, called the two jackpots a testament to Caesars Palace's "unforgettable experience" offered to its online casino users.
Certainly, Caesars Palace hopes the two-in-a-week jackpots can help drum up some hype for its Michigan online casino.Â
Since Michigan welcomed the first legal real money online casinos in early 2021, iGaming has generated over $9 billion in gross gaming revenue and offered some of the top online casino bonuses.Â
Caesars Palace, though, accounts for less than 5% of that total as it chases the likes of BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings and BetRivers for market superiority.
DraftKings Casino on verge of jackpot history
Caesars' record-setting jackpot winner – and subsequent jackpot winner – may not have long to enjoy the headlines in Michigan.
After awarding a national record-breaking $9.3 million to one of its users in February, DraftKings online casino is on the threshold of resetting the mark.
As of Sept. 29, the progressive jackpot at DraftKings Casino Michigan stands at over $19 million, which can be won with a wager as little as $0.20.
