This one might pick up right where things left off on Sunday for Juve, when it grinded out a grim 1-0 win over Inter Milan in Turin to leapfrog back into serious contention in Serie A. Thiago Motta's side has often held firm in the Champions League, such as that 2-0 win over Man City back on December 11. Michele DiGregorio has been on a pretty good run in goal, too, allowing just three across his last four starts. Motta would be glad to get out of Eindhoven at nil-nil and might think one goal is all Juve needs to advance (1-1 does the trick, too), so don't expect this one as free-flowing as the first leg, when 27 shots were recorded. Play PSV-Juventus Under
All Juventus needs is a draw to advance after winning 2-1 in the first leg at home. Eindhoven has been without leading domestic scorer Ricardo Pepi due to injury since late January, and he won't return. The Italian side was a 3-1 winner at home over the Dutch champions on Matchday 1 as well. PSV hasn't won a Champions League knockout phase tie since a 2-1 aggregate victory against Arsenal in the 2006-07 round of 16. Eindhoven is winless in six straight vs. Serie A teams (D2 L4).
PSV are in trouble after losing 2-1 to Juventus in Turin last week. They will be eliminated from the Champions League if they fail to beat the Bianconeri in the second leg, so they should throw caution to the wind on Wednesday. PSV are unbeaten at home since November 2022, and they have scored in every home game for the past two years. That should give the players confidence. However, Juventus have already beaten PSV twice this season – 3-1 in the group stage, and 2-1 last week – and they should also find the back of the net.
