The 1 p.m. window is dreadful, and this is the only spot that seems to offer any value. The Colts are running their entire offense through Jonathan Taylor, which takes a lot of pressure off Joe Flacco. While his play as a backup this season has been criticized, he’s still moved the ball well, and this might be the last game of his entire career. Indianapolis has more weapons, more talent and more at stake. The Giants are dreadful and 1-9 ATS since Oct. 6. With this line hitting -7, it’s worth a play as New York has lost four of five games by that number. I will also have the Colts as a teaser with the Eagles in this window.
The Colts still technically have something to play for, while the Giants are already looking towards the offseason. New York has been horrendous against the run this season, and I expect Jonathan Taylor to have a massive performance. In the end, I see the Colts winning by 10.
Jonathan Taylor is coming off a 29-carry performance and the Colts still have playoff hopes. They're facing a run-funnel Giants defense. Over the past three games, opponents have run the ball 53.7 percent of the time against New York. Look for Taylor to get at least 21 carries in a positive game script Sunday.
DraftKings. Darius Muasau should assume the green dot as the every down off-ball linebacker for the Giants in Week 17, as they’ll be without both Bobby Okereke and Micah McFadden. Muasau has cleared this line in two of the three games since Okereke went down with an injury, and should be in prime position to rack up the tackles on Sunday. The Colts offense should be much more functional with Joe Flacco under center - six off-ball linebackers have cleared this line in the five games where Flacco took the majority of the snaps.
We'll keep riding this through the end of the season as this struggling kid QB tries to make an impression to stay in this job in 2025. His legs power this team and add steam to the run game and he will be looking to finish drives himself again in the redzone. The Giants run D is tepid and they struggle mightily against scrambling QBs. He's hit this in 3 straight games and 4 of 5. I know Jonathan Taylor is a vulture, potentially, but expect ample opportunities in goal to go situations for both.
