Russell Wilson's numbers finally looked good last week as Seattle earned a big divisional win. So Seahawks are back, right? Well, the offense still didn't play particularly well; if you take away the long fake-punt TD, they only averaged 3.8 yards per play. They'll score points in this game but it's likely their focus on running the ball shortens the game, so will it be enough to cover? In their favor is that the Houston offense is absolutely terrible and now may have to turn back to Davis Mills. Houston has as many games under 10 points this year as it does in double-digits. This one screams a 19-6 type of win for Seattle that stays well under the total.
I am not convinced that Seattle solved its offensive problems in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers as the Hawks didn't do much on that side of the ball in the second half. I'm mostly fading Houston's pathetic offense with the expectation that rookie third-round pick Davis Mills will be back at quarterback because Tyrod Taylor is banged up. Davis Mills is not an NFL quarterback, at least not yet. I've seen this total already shift down to 42 at some books, so let's grab this number while we can.
