Only Arizona’s QB situation seemed up in the air, with Kyler Murray in another week of “game-time decision” mode. However, Justin Fields is a surprising scratch with rib injuries, leaving veteran Andy Dalton in charge of an impotent offense also missing WR Allen Robinson. As for Murray, he and WR DeAndre Hopkins have logged limited practice time, so the needle is leaning toward them finally playing. The concern for harsh weather has dwindled, with the forecast reasonable for the desert-based visitors who have a road scoring differential of plus-101.

The total on this game has come down as this should be a cold, rainy and somewhat windy day, where these teams will likely want to focus on running the ball successfully and stopping the run. And that type of game favors the Bears with their limited pass-catching options. While Kyler Murray seemed on track to come back following the bye, I think there's a chance the team holds him out one more week rather than put him out in adverse weather, particularly with a big game against the Rams next. That lookahead spot, plus teams struggling off the bye this year, particularly on offense, leads me to play the 'dog here.
