Baylor will have its hands full against Adrian Martinez and Kansas State. But as conference play has stretched on, Martinez’s sacks have gone up and his rushing yards have dipped. Baylor arguably is playing the best ball in the Big 12 right now -- yes, even better than No. 4 TCU. The Bears have won three straight games -- against Kansas, at Texas Tech and at Oklahoma -- to climb back into the Big 12 Championship Game chase. The offense is averaging 39.5 points a game over the last four games. Meanwhile Kansas State suffered a devastating loss at home to Texas last week. Baylor is 5-0 when running for more than 170 yards this year and 1-3 when it doesn't. KSU has lost two of three and allowed at least 34 points in each defeat. Last week, the Wildcats allowed 269 rushing yards in a home loss to Texas. BU has won the past four in the series; the loser can all but forget about the Big 12 title game.
