Caesar’s. There’s been a lot of trade chatter around Karl-Anthony Towns, as well as reports of him not being thrilled about it. Whether or not that’s impacting him on the court, his point production has dipped of late. Towns is under this line in five straight games. And despite averaging 20 points per game this season, Towns is under this line in 15/25 games when the Knicks starting lineup is fully intact, as it’s expected to be tonight. The Lakers are strong against opposing centers, allowing the second fewest points per game on the fewest threes made per game this season. Some rogue under 19.5 points lines out there, but I’ll take the lower number as plus odds.

Jalen Brunson has dished out just 11 assists over the past three games. But this is a good matchup for Brunson to be a facilitator, in addition to a scorer. The Lakers have given up an average of 30.3 assists over their past three games -- the fourth-highest mark in the NBA. In 23 home games, Brunson has averaged 6.1 assists, compared to 5.6 on the road.
Might this be LeBron's last appearance at MSG? Though no one (maybe not even LeBron) knows for sure. What we do know is that the Knicks are hot, with wins and covers in five straight since that clear-the-air team meeting two weeks ago in front of the team-record 54-point blowout win over the Nets. It's been a straight ascent since, most recently a 30-point blowout of Portland on Friday, with Jalen Brunson again leading the way with 26 points after Mikal Bridges had briefly assumed top scorer honors in the preceding 27-point romp at Toronto. Meanwhile, the Lake Show did recover from the humbling loss at Cleveland by bombing the Wiz on Friday but defensive issues still haunt JJ Redick. Play Knicks

We’re getting a sizable discount on this scoring line for Karl Anthony Towns. He will face a Lakers team that has suspect interior defense and has been vulnerable to opposing Centers. This game projects to be competitive and I think KAT bounces back with a solid scoring performance.
