Moussa Diabate has averaged 12.0 rebounds over his last seven games. In five of those matchups, he had at least 11 boards. His uptick in production coincides with the absence of Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow), who will be out again Thursday. Kalkbrenner played the last time the Hornets faced the Pacers and Diabate still finished with 12 rebounds. The Pacers have allowed the third-most rebounds per game in the league, so I like Diabate to have success against them again in that department.

The Pacers have lost 13 straight, and now they face a Hornets team on an impressive run. Charlotte has covered eight of nine. I like the Hornets to have plenty of offensive success against a Pacers team that ranks 24th in defensive rating and has given up 120-plus points in six of their last seven. When Indiana beat Charlotte 127-118 on Nov. 19, Bennedict Mathurin led the way with 24 points and 12 rebounds. He's out with injury along with Obi Toppin and Isaiah Jackson.

As a rim-running threat, Diabete gets a great matchup against the Pacers who allow the fourth most paint points, and the 12th most assists at the rim. The Pacers also allow the third most rebounds per game. Against an underwhelming center rotation for Indiana, Diabate should thrive.
