The Indiana Pacers are showing life with a 3 and 2 record over their last five games. With that has garnered attention back to the prop market for certain players, in particular Pascal Siakam. When he is on the floor for his normal minutes he is playing at a high level. He’s coming off a season high thirty six points in his last game, and faces a Kings team that is fifth worst defensively in the NBA. Take Siakam’s over.

DraftKings. Rookie Maxime Raynaud has come on strong for the Kings, clearing this line in three of his last four games. Earning his first start on Saturday (in a surprising Kings blowout win), I expect the big man to remain in an expanded role moving forward. It’s a great matchup against the Pacers who have really struggled defending centers this season, allowing the sixth most points. Specifically, Indy ranks 27th against roll men in the pick and roll, and 24th overall in paint points allowed.

As the Pacers search for answers at center, they may have found their new starter in Jay Huff. He has started each of the last five games, averaging 24 minutes along the way. A good three-point shooter, he scored at least 11 points in four of those five games. This game being at home is helpful because he has shot 46.4% from the field and 41.4% from behind the arc there. In a matchup versus a Kings team that has the fifth-worst defensive rating, I like this over.
Just once have the Kings won back-to-back this season, so replicating the 53% FG shooting and 127-111 stunner at Miami on Saturday might be problematic. Zach LaVine's 42 points vs. the Heat looks more an audition before the trade deadline (note LaVine scored all of 2 points at Houston in his preceding game), and Sacto remains minus Domantas Sabonis and Dennis Schroder. Meanwhile, though still down key pieces Tyrese Haliburton, Obi Toopin, and Andrew Nembhard, the Pacers still have some class about them and have won three of five (two over the Bulls). Pascal Siakam is still available, however, and making a case for the All-Star team after leading Indiana in scoring the past five games (26 ppg that span). Play Pacers
