Returning to action in the NBA after a long layoff is usually a no-no when it comes to prop evaluations. For Dallas and Anthony Davis it’s a spot to take advantage against. The Lakers are winning on an 11-2 run, but it’s because of their elite offense. Defensively they will take hits especially in the interior. Grab Anthony Davis over as he has his way with Ayton, Jaxson Hayes, and Maxi Kleber.

Caesar’s. Luka Doncic is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game this season, having grabbed at least 8 in 8/13 contests. This is a matchup where he’ll of course be motivated against his former team. But the Mavericks are also allowing the second most rebounds per game as a team. I expect Luka to stuff the stat sheet in every category - but this rebounds line is light, given the matchup.
The reported return of Anthony Davis to the Mavs lineup adds some extra sauce to this matchup so the two key pieces in last winter's mega-trade (Davis and Luka Doncic) will both be on the floor. Not sure how much Davis, who last played on October 29 before his calf injury, is going to help 5-14 Dallas, which has had a rocky first month-plus both on and off the court and still not full-strength with Kyrie Irving remaining sidelined and Dereck Lively also expected to miss tonight. It's all different for the Lake Show, in a celebratory 5-game win streak at the moment with Doncic (43 more points vs. the Clips on Tuesday) on fire and LeBron now back to active duty. Play Lakers

As Luka Doncic prepares to face his old team, he has scored at least 37 points in three of his last four games. This game will be played in Los Angeles, where Doncic is averaging 39.3 points per game this season. The last time we saw Doncic play the Mavericks, he scored 45 points in a game in Dallas. He’s on fire right now and he’ll be hyped up to face his former team, so I’ll take this over.
