He’s recorded at least 25 points plus rebounds in each of his last three games. Phoenix’s pick and roll defense has been one of the league’s best - that should benefit Johnson who thrives on secondary action.

Time to take Phoenix seriously! The Suns continue as one of the surprise teams in the NBA after perhaps their most impressive win yet on Friday over the visiting T-wolves, rallying in the last minute to steal a 114-113 decision. It's now wins in nine of eleven as Phoenix seems to embrace that new HC Jordan Ott is preaching, even as contributors like Gs Grayson Allen and Jalen Green are hurting. Devin Booker (27.1 ppg), however, is producing at an All-Star level, and the presence of Dillon Brooks cannot be minimized. The Spurs have been holding their own minus Wemby & Stephon Castle, but have perhaps been fortunate the past week to be facing sides the Kings and Grizzles when SA was shorthanded. Play Suns

Victor Wembanyama (calf), Stephon Castle (hip) and Dylan Harper (calf) are all out again for the Spurs. Their absences have helped Harrison Barnes score at least 16 points in each of their last three games. In two of those games, he scored at least 20 points. Barnes is shooting 53.7% from the field and 46.3% from behind the arc, so with the expectation that he receives additional shot attempts again, I like this over.

The Spurs continue to play without Victor Wembanyama (calf), Stephon Castle (hip) and Dylan Harper (calf). With that trio out the last two games, Keldon Johnson scored 18 points against the Grizzlies and 25 points versus the Hawks. He is only averaging 24 minutes and 8.7 shot attempts for the season, but he has averaged 31 minutes and 13.5 shot attempts over the last two games. Expect him to remain in elevated role, making this over appealing.
