Caesar’s. Targeting opposing point guard unders against the Thunder was a profitable strategy last season, and I’m going right back to it tonight. Trae Young is in for a brutal matchup against Cason Wallace and Lu Dort and the Thunder’s top five pick and roll defense. I’d bet this down to under 37.5 PRA.

Caesar’s. Let’s go back to the well with Ajay Mitchell to exceed his points line. Mitchell has registered 16 and a career high 26 points the last two games. The Thunder will once again be missing Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso and Isaiah Joe, and both Cason Wallace and Chet Holmgren are questionable. Even if the latter two suit up, Mitchell has established himself as a key piece for this team, and should be in store for at least 24 minutes off the bench. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will also see one of his toughest individual matchups against Dyson Daniels.

The Thunder are dealing with multiple injuries right now. Jalen Williams (wrist), Alex Caruso (concussion) and Isaiah Joe (knee) are all out for this game, while Chet Holmgren (back) and Cason Wallace (knee) are listed as questionable. Because the Thunder are so shorthanded, Ajay Mitchell logged 38 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday. He scored 26 points in the game, which came on the heels of him scoring 16 points over 15 minutes in the Thunder’s season opener against the Rockets. Mitchell shot 49.5% from the field and 38.3% from three last season, so with added minutes likely coming his way, I like this over.
Oklahoma City could be really short-handed with a handful of guys already out led again by Jalen Williams and Alex Caruso, and a few others iffy in Cason Wallace and Chet Holmgren. If they both sit, I think we are good here. It is the second of a B2B for Atlanta, but you get fired up to face the champs. Kristaps Porzingis didn't play Friday but I tend to think does here. Since I don't know about the two Thunder guys or the Unicorn, we do a half for now but would raise if all the injuries work to our favor (although this would drop a little). OKC might be totally gassed having played a pair of double-OT games already.
