BetMGM, B365, HR. Coming off a career season for the Clippers in which he averaged 23.9 points plus assists, Norman Powell finds himself as even more of an offensive focal point with the Heat. In his first game, a tough matchup against the Magic, Powell netted 28 points and 4 assists. His front court touches (36), potential assists (7) and usage rate (25.8%) all represent a big increase from his time in LA. While I don’t want to get too ingrained with a one game sample, it’s clear the Heat want the ball in Powell’s hands, especially without Tyler Herro available. And this should be a plus matchup against the blistering pace of the Grizzlies. I also like Powell’s points line up to over 22.5.

With Tyler Herro out that's a lot of usage that can be 'redistributed' to the other stars on the team like Bam Adebayo. Even though he averages fewer assists on the road (4 vs 4.6 at home) since last season he still has gone over 3.5 a solid 24-20, 54.5% (28-13, 68.3% at home). Since last season's post-season he has come under then over 8 straight games. He only had 2 in the season opener, so if the pattern persists he goes over today.
