The Chicago Bulls have won five out of their last six games, and got the attention of everyone with their miracle victory over the LA Lakers. Today’s spot against the Dallas Mavericks fits the bill of a letdown spot. Although Dallas has several players as game time decisions, they are ignoring being written off as a potential play in team. Take Dallas as they continue a solid road trip, and cover the spread.

Credit to Josh Giddey who is playing excellent basketball but now we’re approaching Jayson Tatum territory as far as his PRA line is concerned. I will fade Giddey at this number against any opponent and if he makes a fool out of me then I will tip the proverbial cap to him. While he’s playing great I believe there is a fair likelihood that this stretch will go down as the best statistical one of his career. I still believe regression is coming.

We've mentioned a few times lately in our caps that the Bulls have been playing quietly solid hoop. Well, they have also covered 10 of their last 11 games and I like them in this spot as the Mavs adjust to whatever Anthony Davis can provide after missing so much time. The Bulls are 26-18-1 ATS with one day off, 33-23-2 ATS outside their division, and have also covered 6 of their last 7 at home. The Mavs have covered 4 of 5 but just 5 of their last 15 and their defense can be maddeningly poor. Dallas is 7-8 ATS in its last 15 games on the road. I'll buy the Bulls recent fight continuing here.
