Brooks has cleared this line in six of his last eight games, as Houston is without Fred VanVleet and Jabari Smith Jr. Brooks is mostly an off-ball threat - he’s cleared this line in 12/18 games when he’s played at least 24 minutes against teams that rank in the bottom 12 of defense against spot-up shooters. The Mavericks are 23rd in that department, and Brooks scored 17 and 19 points against them previously this season. With Alperen Sengun having to deal with Anthony Davis down low, look for Brooks to see some more opportunities on the perimeter.
