FanDuel. Nikola Jovic has cleared this line in 11 of the last 15 games. With Jimmy Butler shipped out to Golden State, and Andrew Wiggins not yet ready to make his Heat debut, this is yet another nice spot to fire on the Heat sophomore. His minutes floor has been incredibly secure, even off the bench - it wouldn’t shock me to see him push 30+ against a Nets team that runs smaller (negating the need for the Heat to run two bigs). The Nets are also well below average defensively against what Jovic does well (spot up shooting and fastbreak points).
We haven't been used to seeing higher-scoring Nets games lately so will regard Wednesday vs. the Wizards as a bit of an outlier. Jordi Fernandez had been having a bit more success playing at a slower pace, reflected in three straight Brooklyn wins prior to midweek. It's worth noting that in five of the last eight games, the Nets have failed to crack 100 points; even on Wednesday, Brooklyn only got to 102. Note Brooklyn was under seven straight prior to that narrow over vs. Washington. Meanwhile the post-Jimmy Butler Heat won its first game 108-101 on Wednesday at Philly behind 30 points from Tyler Herro, but that landed under as did the last meeting vs. Brooklyn (110-95 Heat on Dec. 23).
