The Houston Rockets go into the daunting task of playing their seventh game over the last eleven days. With heavy road travel involved they have lost three straight games, including losing to the Brooklyn Nets at home 110-98. The Rockets delve deeper into their bench rotation last night in preparation for a back to back. Expect Cam Whitmore, Aaron Holiday, and Tari Eason to flourish and give the Rockets an edge.

Jalen Green has been lights out for the Rockets and will need to carry the scoring load tonight as Houston is missing multiple scorers. Meanwhile Green has been on a scoring tear of late and is averaging over 25 PPG since January 1st. Green will face a Nets team he torched for 29 points a few nights ago. The Nets rank just 23rd in Defensive Efficiency. I'd play this comfortably up to 23.5.

Rockets messed around and lost to lowly Nets two days ago but they have recently knocked off Cavs twice, Boston and lost to Memphis by one. Houston is 5-2 ATS as a favorite of 9.5+. Nets are 1-7 ATS at home as dog of 9+ points, failing to cover by 8.5 per game. Prior to two straight wins, Nets lost seven straight and five of them by 9+ points (avg margin of defeat: 19.5 points!). Nets have dropped 11 in a row at home, and nine of those losses are by at least nine points. Great spot for Rockets to flex their muscles again.
