Credit to Andrew Wiggins who despite the Warriors struggling this year, has remained a solid scorer and is playing good basketball. With that being said, Wiggins is facing unarguably the most difficult matchup for opposing forwards in the the Magic. Orlando has been kryptonite for forwards and I expect that to be the case tonight as well.
Draymond Green is listed as probable for this matchup, so his expected return puts the Warriors in a good spot on the health front. The Magic have lost eight of their last nine games with six of those losses coming on the road. They are now just 9-17 on the road this season. This is a great spot for the Warriors to earn a victory on their home floor.
Warriors have their issues, but the Magic are an absolutely failure with little hope right now. ORL has lost 10 of 12, they are 29th in net rating last 10 games (-15.4) and 29th in off rating; only Wizards are worse (-17). Magic are 7-16 ATS last 23 games; they have failed to cover by 4.5 points or more in 14 of those 16 games. Nine of their last 11 losses are by 13+ points. Warriors capping a huge 6 game home stand before 7 straight on road. Just going 3-3 is not good enough. Golden State 4-2 ATS in last 6 games. They have defensive issues but Magic can't score. Expect Steph to push the Warriors forward here.
