After starting the season on a minutes restriction, Morant is up to 32-34 minutes as part of his regular rotation. Averaging 34.5 P+A per 32 minutes this season, we can afford some risk of playing a few less minutes. And this is a fantastic matchup against the Lakers who struggle defensively on the perimeter.

LeBron James is questionable, which actually is good news for Lakers backers after missing the past two games. This is a fairly significant game for struggling LA as it would drop to .500 for the first time since early on with a loss. Thus, I expect LeBron to go and this probably ends up closing +3 or so. If he doesn't then yeah this probably is a loser.

The Lakers are reeling, with LBJ's current and future under scrutiny. They are 4-11 ATS in the last 15 games and 3-7 ATS as a dog and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 at home. When they are a dog of 3.5 points or more they are 2-5 ATS, with 5 losses by double digits. They split 2 games with Memphis but that was before Grizz found their game and before Lakers fell off. Memphis is 15-3 ATS in the last 18. They have 18 wins this season and 17 of them (all except opening night) are by 5+ points. The Grizz could win this by 10+ points without playing close to their best game. JJ Reddick may be getting exposed on nightly basis now.
