The Grizzlies looked awful in their loss Tuesday to a Nuggets team that was playing without Nikola Jokic. They are thin at center right now with Zach Edey (ankle) out. Vince Williams (ankle) has also been ruled out, while Marcus Smart (illness) and John Konchar (illness) are listed as doubtful. Joel Embiid and Paul George will play or the 76ers, so don’t expect the Grizzlies to have enough quality depth to keep this close.

Feels like an early fork-in-the-road game for Philly at 2-11 and amid Tyrese Maxey calling out star Joel Embiid, who frankly has looked disinterested in limited action and apparently is showing up late to practices and such. That's what happens, yo, when you enable someone. So I hope the Sixers go down in flames this season. Maxey has been upgraded to questionable, which to me says he's playing Wednesday.
