The Dallas Mavericks are in search of a team pickup spot to get them going. At .500 they have lost consecutive games but both were narrow defeats by two points or less. Klay Thompson is making is return to face the Warriors on Tuesday for the first time since signing with the Mavericks. He's basically averaging three made 3s per game (2.9), and this is not an average game. He'll be looking for his shot early and often and he has a way of rising to the occasion.

Probably a lot of ways you can play Klay Thompson in his return to Golden State tonight. He has been off with his 3-point shot in back-to-back games but obviously knows the Chase Center shooting dynamics as well as anyone. Have to think Luka and Kyrie are feeding Klay all night to torch his former club and maybe outduel Steph Curry in their first matchup (hmm maybe I have to play a Curry prop as well). The model has him at 3.3 made 3-pointers.

This is a good buy low spot. Klay Thompson has only scored over 13 once in the last 7 games, shooting just 2-13 from 3pt range last 2 games. I have to believe he’ll be super motivated in his return to Golden State. And, if Luka is slowed down with a groin injury it should result in more shots for Thompson.
