Since moving into the starting lineup, Trey Murphy III has averaged 7.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists over 10 games. With regards to this prop, he combined for at least nine rebounds and assists in eight of the 10 games. With plenty of minutes likely coming his way again, this over is appealing.

With Brandon Ingram set to miss his 11th straight game, Pelicans forward Herb Jones should be on the floor again for nearly 40 minutes. He's averaging 37 minutes this month. This is a critical game, with New Orleans holding onto the No. 6 seed by a half-game. The Kings have given up 57 rebounds per game (sixth-most) over their last three outings, and Jones cleared this prop total in all three meetings with Sacramento this season (7, 5, 5 rebounds).

Playoff seeding consequences galore in this one at Golden 1 Center, and if previous results mean anything, it should be advantage New Orleans here. Three matchups vs. Sacto thus far, and three wins for the Pels, including a couple by 36 and 33 points, respectively, and even at one leading the latter by 50 points in Sacto on January 7. The difference has been absolute domination off the glass, with New Orleans winning the board battle by a combined 154-99 across the three wins, overpowering the Kings at the point of attack. Jonas Valanciunas has seen his playing time fall of a cliff as the big man is playing less than 20 minutes a night for the last three months. Valanciunas decrease in playing time has resulted in the Pelicans playing their best basketball of the season. Valanciunas is a liability defensively and offensively lacks the ability to provide spacing which is a must with Zion Williamson on the floor. The Pels have been significantly better on both ends with Valanciunas off the floor this season. I expect the big man to once again play 18-20 minutes against an underrated Kings interior defense.

CJ McCollum has become one of the leagues highest volume three point shooters and he's been taking quite a few since Brandon Ingram suffered a knee injury that has caused him to miss the last three weeks. Even with the extra three point shots, 5 is a huge number and this line is typically reserved for Steph Curry. To put this number in perspective, McCollum has failed to make 5+ threes in 13 of his last 19 games (69%). The Kings have been very tough on opposing PGs and surrender the fourth fewest three point field goals on a per game basis.
