New Orleans is playing great basketball and are at full strength ahead of a matchup against a shorthanded Cavs squad. New Orleans have won four straight games and Zion Williamson has been playing very good basketball, however this is a tough matchup against an excellent Cavs defense that excels at limiting opposing forwards. In addition to both of these teams playing slow, there are so many capable scorers on the Pelicans aside from Zion. With so many mouths to feed in a paced down game, I believe this number is a few ticks too high.

New Orleans is making its move and is only a few games behind the spiraling Cavs. I love the balanced basketball the Pelicans are playing and love them at home with rest. Cleveland is getting healthier but still seem to be figuring out their rotations. New Orleans is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 and coming off a nice road trip and tough stretch of 5 of 6 away from home. Cavs last 8 ATS: L, W, L, W, L, W, L, W ... I'll bet on trend continuing here. Last 5 Pels wins all by 8+. NO 31-22-1 ATS after a day off. Always helps when their big men are fresh.
