Memphis has been a solid team at home and the Blazers were in a 5-15 slump ATS on the road before destroying Memphis Friday night. The Grizz were 10-5 ATS in their last 15 at home before getting throttled. The scope of that defeat gave me a little pause but I like them to rebound tonight and show some fire and win this game. This one is about pride.

It's the nature of the beast in the NBA for these quick turnaround rematches to reverse the outcome of the first meeting. Memphis certainly hopes that's the case after last night's unsightly 30-point loss at FedEx Forum to the lowly Blazers, who entered the Bluff City on the heels of nine SU losses (and seven straight spread Ls). It would help the Grizzlies' cause if Jaren Jackson returned to active duty tonight, though his status remains iffy due to quad tendon soreness. But Memphis had recently beaten teams like the Bucks and Rockets with sorts such as Zaire Williams and Vince Williams carrying the load, as Taylor Jenkins has mostly been able to coax decent efforts out of his patchwork lineup.
