Not many teams have match up well with Wemby, and the Mavs aren't the exception. The Dallas backcourt is elite, but they simply don't have the front court to contain the rookie phenom. I expect him to go well over this number on Wednesday night.

The Mavs have been boosted big time by the arrival of C Daniel Gafford (will jump his rebound over when it populates) at the trade deadline and that should open things up a little more for Luka. He grabbed 11 boards Monday even with Gafford snatching 17 in just 24 minutes. He has triple doubles in both meetings with SA already this season and the Spurs are 26th in contested rebound % and 24th in rebound %. I think he smells another triple double here at home before going into the break. I'm sprinkling at +200. Somebody comes within spitting distance of one vs Spurs with decent regularity.

Pretty shocked that the books are even offering us 3.5 blocks plus steals again (figured would be up to 4.5 the rest of the season) after Wemby's 10-block performance last time out. We'll gladly take it and I'd think he might even play a few more minutes tonight if the game is close considering the Spurs are then off for eight days -- although the rook is headed to Indianapolis for the Rising Stars game and Skills Competition.
