Kyrie will be making his return to Brooklyn for the first time since he was traded last season to Dallas. Despite Kyrie's counting stats still looking good, having watched him in Dallas he often did not appear engaged and the Mavericks struggled and went 8-12 in games Irving appeared in. Fast forward to this season and what a difference an offseason has made and Kyrie is playing winning basketball, despite his numbers being virtually identical compared to last season. The Mavs are 16-12 when Kyrie has been active and overall just looks a lot more comfortable. Irving is averaging a healthy 34.4 combined PA since Jan. 1st and I like his chances to have a big game versus his old teammates.
