T.J. McConnell tends to thrive when Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) is out. In the five games that Haliburton has missed this season, McConnell recorded at least 18 combined points and assists four times. That included him posting at least 20 combined points and assists in both games since Haliburton suffered his most recent injury. The Pacers have played at the second-fastest pace in the league, so an expanded role gives McConnell a great chance to hit this over.

Through a couple of games the impact of not having Tyrese Haliburton has not been felt for the Pacers. They have won three straight games and today will get to face a Denver Nuggets team in a back to back situation. Look for Denver to thrive against the Pacers fast pace offense, and also be motivated to defeat their old teammate in Bruce Brown.
