The Pacers don’t stop anyone. This game should be high-scoring, but I just can’t see Indiana outscoring the best team in the East. The Celtics score at will.

I’m watching a lot of Letterkenny these days. The Hockey players say “buddy” A LOT! But I’m saying the Boston D on the perimeter makes it tough for Hield to yield an over.
The Indiana Pacers will face a Boston Celtics team that handed them their worst loss of the season. While I do not expect a loss of fifty one points, I do expect the Pacers style of play to be conducive for the Celtics. Look for Boston to counter the scoring ability of the Pacers and advance to the next stage of the in-season tournament.
We keep thinking some team is going to slow the pace on the Pacers but it's not happening. The heat couldn't do it in back-to-back games last week that both landed in the 270s, just like a back-to-back with the Sixers a couple of weeks earlier and both games landing in the high 250s. Boston can certainly do a lot of damage in uptempo if it so desires, as the case in the first meeting back on Nov. 1 at TD Garden that ended with the Celtics a 1559yes 155!0-104 winner. Indiana is now "over" 14-1 its last fifteen and need a good reason to look the other way. Play Celtics-Heat "Over"
Well we suppose there is a revenge motive here for the Pacers, which is to be expected after losing by 51 points in the previous game vs. the next opponents. In Boston's case, however, it devoured the Pacers' usual go-go tactics on Nov. 1 when ruining up a 155-104 margin, getting looks from wherever it wanted on the floor. Eight Celtics scored in double digits that night, and of those only Kristaps Porzingis is likely to miss this rematch. The matchups simply don't seem to add up for the Pacers here. Play Celtics

The Celtics will remain shorthanded up front with Kristaps Porzingis (calf) set to miss his fourth straight game. Hauser has been playing more off the bench in his absence, which allowed him to score at least nine points in each of the last three games. Going back even further, Hauser has scored at least nine points in seven of his last eight games. He is an excellent three-point shooter, making 43.7 percent of his attempts from behind the arc. With the Pacers having played at the fastest pace and having the second-worst defensive rating in the league, the over is the way to go with Hauser.

We could see plenty of juicy stat lines from the players on the Celtics in this game. The Pacers have played at the fastest pace and they have the second-worst defensive rating in the league. When White faced them earlier in the season, he posted 18 points and four assists while playing just 27 minutes. The Celtics won that game going away, so he didn’t need to play much late. Kristaps Porzingis (calf) will be out again, and that’s noteworthy because White has produced at least 21 combined points and assists in each of the last three games with him sidelined. Take the over here.

This is a substantial number for Buddy Hield, especially in the event Tyrese Halburton is active tonight. I do anticipate Haliburton playing as this is a pivotal in-season tournament game. It is a gamble as Hield's usage would increase if Haliburton isn't able to suit up. Regardless Boston has one of the best perimeter defenses in the league and the combination of Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White will make life difficult on Hield.
