The Clippers are going to jell at some point and start rolling but wow am I loving them just stinking up the joint since acquiring the team-killing James Harden. LA is undersized with Mason Plumlee out so Nikola Jokic should have his way -- not that Mason Plumlee would stop him, but you get my drift.

The Nuggets are one of the most efficient offensive teams in the league, and they are averaging nearly 120 points per game at Ball Arena this season. I expect them to finish well over 120 points in this matchup, which sets this game up nicely to go over 225 points.

The Nuggets didn't look great in their loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday. They will be returning home where they are 6-0 straight up and 4-2 against the spread this season. The Clippers have yet to find their flow with James Harden on the court, and with their lack of front court depth, they don't really have a great answer for Nikola Jokic. I'm laying the points here in what I expect to be a double-digit Nuggets win.

Los Angeles is winless in the James Harden era. The Nuggets have yet to lose a game at home this season. Denver comes off a loss to the Rockets and have a +12.3-point differential at home. Los Angeles has played better offensively on the road; however, the addition of Harden has not been working out for now as the team is struggling to find their identify with yet another ball dominate player.

The Clippers are struggling mightily. They have lost five straight, with four of the losses coming by at least five points. Their last game was particularly embarrassing, losing at home to the 2-8 Grizzlies. James Harden is still trying to adjust to his new teammates and is not a good fit alongside Russell Westbrook. The Clippers have Ivica Zubac and basically no size behind him, so look for Nikola Jokic to feast and lead the Nuggets to a commanding home victory.
