Austin Reaves may be the top boom or bust role player in the postseason. When he is he can be a second or third scoring option. Game one was all about Anthony Davis and LeBron James ensuring team success, and game two the Lakers did not find an offensive flow. Tonight look for Reaves to get going and be an integral part of the win or loss. Play his over.

Dennis Schroder showed in game one that his downhill dribbling is a problem for the Warriors. He got to the free throw line five times and scored a playoff high nineteen points. In game three I expect his play to continue to taper off as we saw in game two. Take his under total points.

I know about the tendency of role players playing better at home, but Jarred Vanderbilt's responsibility with the Lakers isn't to fill the box score. It's to defend Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and whomever else the Warriors throw at him. So I have a hard time seeing him go over this prop when he's only finished over 7.5 rebounds and assists once this postseason. It was in Game 1. He finished with eight. His rebounding numbers have fallen off a cliff in the postseason, as he averaged 7.5 per game in the regular season but only 4.4 in the playoffs.

Lebron has seen his assist numbers dip during the postseason after he was averaging 6.8 APG in the regular season and this line is only 5.5. However if you look at some his assist metrics he is running cold in that department and certainly due for some positive regression. Lebron is averaging 11.4 potential assists per game which is in line with his regular season averages and illustrates that he is due for an uptick in assists. I love that this game is at home where James averages 7.2 APG, compared to 6.5 on the road. Considering Lebron is likely to play 40+ minutes tonight and this line is discounted I think he is in a good spot to dish out six helpers tonight.

D’Angelo Russell only scored 10 points over 28 minutes in Game 2. With the score so lopsided, he wasn’t on the floor much in the second half. He scored 19 points in Game 1, taking 19 shots over 33 minutes. The Lakers have played three home playoff games so far and Russell scored at least 17 points in each of them. With the home crowd behind him and the Warriors focusing on trying to slow down Anthony Davis and LeBron James, look for Russell to have another productive performance in the scoring column.
